PATEL INTEGRATED LOGISTICS LTD: RECEIPT OF GST DEMAND ORDER

• The Company has received an order from the GST Department raising a demand aggregating to ₹33.34 crores towards GST, interest and penalty. • The order relates to the Financial Year 2017-18 to 2019-20. • The demand pertains to taxable value of supplies on which tax is to be paid under GTA service. • The Company believes the regulations prevailing during the period covered in the notice mean the GST amount was appropriately paid and the demand is not tenable. • The Company is examining the order and believes it has adequate grounds to contest the demand and will take appropriate legal remedies, including filing an appeal.
