Adani, UAE's IHC to Invest $11.5 Billion in Odisha Aluminium Mega Project
Adani Group and Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company (IHC) will jointly invest $11.5 billion (around ₹1.08 lakh crore) to build an integrated aluminium complex in Odisha, marking India's largest foreign investment in the metals sector. The 50:50 joint venture will include an alumina refinery (4 million tonnes), an aluminium smelter (2 million tonnes), a captive power plant and a downstream manufacturing park. The project is expected to create over 53,500 jobs and increase India's aluminium production capacity by nearly 50%.
