Suzlon to invest ₹550 crore for three AI-powered blade factories by 2027
Suzlon Group plans to invest ₹550 crore from internal accruals in three AI-powered wind-blade factories in Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, co-founder Girish Tanti told PTI. The Tamil Nadu project is allocated ₹200 crore, with the remaining amount for the Gujarat and Karnataka facilities. The factories are estimated to be set up by 2027 and are intended to speed up execution of Suzlon’s order book and meet rising domestic wind-industry demand. The new plants will create 3000 direct and 12000 indirect jobs.
