IRCON Bags ₹862 Crore EPC Contract From East Central Railway
IRCON International has secured an ₹862.46 crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from East Central Railway for track construction and railway infrastructure works. The project covers the Gomoh–Koderma and Gaya–Son Nagar sections and includes supplying ballast, track materials, laying and linking tracks, and other miscellaneous works. The contract is linked to the construction of the third and fourth railway lines under the Son Nagar–Andal project. IRCON is required to complete the work within 365 days.
