HCLTech Adds 6,450 Employees in Q2, Highest Quarterly Addition in 16 Quarters; Profit Jumps 21% YoY
HCLTech added 6,450 employees in Q2 FY27, taking its total workforce to a record 2.30 lakh. Consolidated net profit rose 21.2% YoY to ₹5,132 crore, while revenue increased 11.5% to ₹35,620 crore. Operating margin improved to 18.2%, and advanced AI revenue climbed 78% YoY to $219 million. Deal wins reached $3.26 billion. The company declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per share and narrowed its FY27 revenue growth guidance to 2.5–4%.
