Mankind Pharma to Acquire 70% Stake in Belgian Biotech Firm for €48 Million, Enters CAR-T Cancer Therapies
Mankind Pharma’s board has approved a €48 million investment to acquire a 70% stake in Belgium-based Armed Cell Therapeutics (ACTx), marking its entry into next-generation CAR-T cancer therapies. To fund the acquisition, Mankind will invest up to an additional €45 million in its Netherlands subsidiary, taking the total approved investment limit to €50 million. The deal supports its strategy to build a global, innovation-led pharmaceutical business.
