L&T jumps 1.5% as company begins Initial Work on ₹15,000 Crore Tashkent Airport Project
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has commenced initial engineering, design and planning activities for the New Tashkent International Airport project in Uzbekistan after receiving a Limited Notice to Proceed from the project consortium. Classified as an ultra-mega order worth over ₹15,000 crore, the contract covers construction of the passenger terminal and associated landside infrastructure, designed to handle around 17 million passengers annually.
