LIC Gets Largest ₹500 Crore Allocation in Jio Platforms IPO Anchor Book
LIC received the largest individual allocation in Jio Platforms’ IPO anchor book, securing shares worth nearly ₹500 crore at ₹1,119 apiece. Jio Platforms raised ₹8,110 crore from anchor investors ahead of its ₹30,188-crore public offering. New World Fund received an allocation worth ₹486 crore, while Singapore’s government was allotted shares worth ₹341 crore. The anchor book attracted global investors, including BlackRock, Fidelity and JPMorgan, alongside major sovereign wealth funds and domestic institutions.
