SEBI Orders Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy to Refund ₹546 Crore, Imposes ₹11.5 Crore Fine
SEBI has ordered Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy and its founder to refund ₹546.17 crore collected through unregistered investment advisory and research services, along with ₹67.87 crore in interest. The regulator imposed penalties totalling ₹11.5 crore on the academy, Avadhut Sathe and director Gouri Sathe. It also barred the founder and academy from accessing securities markets for two years, citing stock-specific trading calls and misleading profit claims presented under the guise of market education.
