IndiGo, Air India Express to Shift Flights to Navi Mumbai Airport From December
IndiGo and Air India Express will progressively shift selected flights from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to Navi Mumbai International Airport to facilitate Terminal 1 redevelopment. Air India Express plans to begin four daily domestic flights from December 2026, followed by selected West Asia services from January 2027. IndiGo will shift 12 daily international departures from February 2027, covering destinations across the Middle East and Asia. The transition will ease capacity constraints and strengthen Navi Mumbai’s role as a second aviation hub.
