Tata Communications to Invest $450 Million in India’s AI Superhighway
Tata Communications plans to invest around $400–450 million to build an AI-ready connectivity network spanning approximately 10,000 km across India. The proposed “AI superhighway” will link data centres and AI hubs with high-speed, low-latency fibre infrastructure to handle growing data traffic from artificial intelligence workloads. The investment aims to strengthen the company’s digital infrastructure business and capitalise on rising demand from cloud providers and enterprises expanding their AI capabilities.
