Ather Energy Posts First-Ever Quarterly Profit; Shares Gained 14%, Hero MotoCorp Gains
Ather Energy reported its first-ever quarterly net profit of ₹1.26 crore in Q2 FY27, against a loss of ₹154 crore a year earlier. Revenue surged 62.9% year-on-year to ₹1,464 crore, while EBITDA turned positive at ₹11.46 crore versus a loss of ₹132.55 crore. The company also approved ₹122 crore in capital expenditure for its Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra factories. Ather shares gained 14% following the results, while Hero MotoCorp’s stake in Ather stands at approximately 32.8%.
