Ambuja Cements Announces ₹14,500-Crore Expansion; Targets 155 MTPA Capacity by FY30
Ambuja Cements announced plans to add around 30 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of cement capacity through a ₹14,500-crore expansion programme, targeting total capacity of 155 MTPA by FY30. The expansion spans Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, strengthening its presence across eastern, western and northern India. The company plans 14 projects, including new grinding and clinker facilities. The expansion aims to improve logistics, reduce costs and capture growing demand from infrastructure and construction.
