KRBL Surges 12% After Q2 Profit Jumps 50%; Revenue Rises 14% to ₹1,727 Crore
KRBL, the maker of India Gate basmati rice, rallied after reporting strong Q2 FY27 results. Consolidated net profit rose 50.4% YOY to ₹258.93 crore, while revenue from operations increased 14.3% to ₹1,727.36 crore. EBITDA jumped 46.7% to ₹332.2 crore, expanding margins to around 19% from 15% a year earlier. Higher realisations, an improved sales mix and record domestic revenue supported profitability, although exports declined 31% amid weaker Middle East demand.
