Adani Airports CEO Says India Needs Three National Airlines; IndiGo Shares Saw Profit Booking

Arun Bansal, CEO of Adani Airports, said India needs a large third airline alongside its dominant carriers, IndiGo and Air India, as aviation demand grows. He stressed that airlines are customers of airport operators and said Adani does not intend to compete with them. The company is planning $10–11 billion in capital expenditure over the next seven years. IndiGo shares saw some profit booking as it's down 2% from its day high.
